Hi :),
I am working as a Sr. QA Executive and recently got an opportunity to explore and implement Jmeter.
While doing so, I found material to refer, is so scattered and for some important part, it is not specific or available easily.
This encouraged me to write posts which will help people to understand and implement Jmeter quickly and most important – at one place.
Whatever described in the posts (especially configuration and settings), is successfully experimented on Windows 8, 64 bit with 4 GB ram with core i5 processor.
So, I have tried it to make it short, simple and step wise, as:
1. Setting up jmeter environment
2. Jmeter GUI – Record and playback
3. Jmeter command line execution and remote test
Hope, it will help you!

Thanks for great material, Nitin, it is very easy to read, understand and implement. In my turn I would like to share this which is extremely helpful for quick ramp up on JMeter.
Thanks for the appreciation !
